Accessible Toilets:
We do have an accessible toilet available to our guests who require access to one. Access to these toilets will only be available to guests who collect a disabled wristband from the main entrance when getting tickets scanned. In order to get a wristband, you must show proof of disability. The accepted pieces of evidence are listed in the 2 For 1 Ticket Scheme section of this document. The toilets are locked so you will also be given a code to be able to unlock the door. We can write this code on your wristband.
Viewing Area:
There is a disabled viewing area exclusively for our disabled guests, located towards the top of the slope. Space in this area is provided on a first come first served basis and does not need to be booked in advance. This area is only available to disabled guests and 1 nominated personal assistant plus any dependent children who do not have any other guardians who can look after them at the festival. This is to ensure that there is enough room for all guests with accessibility issues who wish to use it. Just as with the Accessible Toilet, you will need to have a disabled wristband to gain access to this viewing platform. Your Personal Assistant does not need one, but can only access the platform when they are with you. If you leave, they must leave also.
The site slopes gently towards the stage, amphitheatre style, which makes viewing from most areas very clear. This means that if you do not wish to use the viewing area or cannot use it for some reason, there will be plenty of other areas with great views of the stages. The front half of the arena is for those wanting to sit on the floor or stand. The use of camping chairs and seating is strictly limited to the rear half – this section is clearly marked. We recommend arriving early to secure the best position, particularly if you are in a group. There is no seating provided at the festival so please bring your own.
Medication:
We know that in some cases, you may need to bring along your medication to the festival. If you are worried about carrying this medication on your person during the festival, we are happy to store it for you in our office at the entrance where you can collect it as and when needed. This facility is available on a case-by-case basis, as we have limited space. So, if you wish to store your medication with us, please email us in advance to see if this would be possible (accessibility@mostlyjazz.co.uk). Please note that we cannot accept any responsibility for any lost or damaged medication that is left in our office. Although this is a safe space, accountability still lies with the owner of the medication.
First Aid:
First aiders are situated 60m from the viewing area at the Tennis Clubhouse throughout the duration of the festival for any medical emergencies. If you do have any medical emergencies, you can go straight to where they are situated, or grab a member of staff who is wearing a radio who can contact the team directly to assist you.
Please note that you do not have to apply in advance to use the toilets or the viewing platform. We just require that you bring proof of disability to the festival in order to collect a disabled wristband, which will allow you to gain access to these facilities. If you do not have the correct piece/s of evidence (see list in the 2 For 1 Ticket Scheme section of this document), but believe you will need access to the toilets or viewing platform, please email the evidence you do have in advance of the festival and we will review this on a case-by-case basis and tell you if you will be able to collect a disabled wristband.
